NZ Iron’s brand mission is to promote the safe and effective use of Kettlebells, and Kettlebell routines, by providing a complete Kettlebell Certification Program to personal trainers and Kettlebell enthusiasts’ alike. We are determined to provide people with a nationally recognised Kettlebell training qualification as well as providing comprehensive Kettlebell Routines to include in their fitness training programmes.
NZ Iron intends to achieve is mission through the following avenues:
Iron Mission 1: NZ Iron Kettlebell Certification Program
The primary goal of NZ Iron is to promote the safe and effective use of Kettlebells and Kettlebell Routines, for the fitness and rehabilitation goals of personal trainers and Kettlebell enthusiasts.
Through a specially designed kettlebell certification program called the Kettlebell Iron Standard, NZ Iron is dedicated to providing people with the latest high quality, effective, efficient and safe tools and techniques to train using kettlebells.
We aim to make the Kettlebell Iron Standard the benchmark qualification for anyone wanting to train and instruct others in the safe use of Kettlebells.
Iron Mission 2: NZ Iron Kettlebell Routines
Derived from the Kettlebell Iron Standard, NZ Iron aims to create Kettlebell Routines that can be used by anyone safely in a normal workout environment, while still focusing on driving functional fitness and the highest levels of physical performance.
NZ Iron has created a range of standardised routines to cater to different strength and fitness levels while providing a challenging workout and pushing the limits of mental endurance.
Each routine has been designed with specific goals in mind with a clear path to achievement. The standardised routines are independently focused on Conditioning, Strength or Cardio although these can be modified to target a combination of the three or adjusted to meet the needs of the class.
However, as any steelworker will tell you, it’s not easy moving metal! Once you start swinging, snatching or just trying to hold a Kettlebell, you will soon uncover what a workout it will be. We aim to provide routines that make people push harder and give them the motivation to achieve their goals, rather than get lost at the back of the room where nobody can see them fail.
